MIGA Foundation Student Elective Grants Program - 'Supporting Medical Students in Developing Communities' - APPLICATIONS OPEN!!

IF YOU ARE AN AUSTRALIAN MEDICAL STUDENT AND WISH TO UNDERTAKE AN ELECTIVE IN A DEVELOPING COMMUNITY, THEN PLEASE CONSIDER APPLYING FOR AN ELECTIVE GRANT, BROUGHT TO YOU BY MIGA.

The grant consists of:

For medical students

  • Five individual Elective Grants of $2,000 per medical student, to assist in funding the medical student's elective, including the cost of travel, accommodation and vaccinations


    • For developing communities

  • Five individual Medical Support Grants of $1,500 each. These are in addition to the Elective Grants and are to assist in the purchase of medical or other aid for the community you visit as part of your elective.
